Presentation of the MareLaw Project at the 6th Adriatic Maritime Law Conference 2024 in Trieste, Italy
At the 6th Adriatic Maritime Law Conference 2024, held from June 20 to 22, 2024, in Trieste, Italy, Project Leader Associate Professor Dr. Nikola Mandić and project associates Professor Dr. Ranka Petrinović and Professor Dr. Petra Amižić Jelovčić presented the Erasmus+ KA2 (Cooperation partnership in higher education) project titled “Upgrading and Harmonization of Maritime Law STCW-Based Curriculum for Maritime Students – MareLaw.”
During the conference, which brought together scholars from the field of maritime law, young researchers, and professionals from the maritime industry, the results of the project activities carried out thus far were presented in a talk titled “Harmonization of Maritime Law Courses for Future Seafarers through the MareLaw Project.” Discussions were held with participating maritime law professors regarding potential collaborations and ways in which the project results could be implemented into the teaching processes at their institutions.
The project “Upgrading and Harmonization of Maritime Law STCW-Based Curriculum for Maritime Students – MareLaw” is co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2: Cooperation Partnerships (in the field of higher education).
